For those in the north Dallas area, you can price match Kool-Aid packets 10/$1 at Walmart from Sack N Save's ad. There are so many uses for kool-aid that I thought we could list a couple here. I'll include links below with more information about each one:
1. Flavor/scent other things:
You can mix any flavor packet into things that are already sweet for extra flavor like frosting or ice cream (especially home-made), or mix it into petroleum jelly with a pinch of sugar for flavored lip gloss. Or like Erin mentioned in her comment--you can make Popsicles!
2. Dye things other colors:
You can tie-dye t-shirts, re-color flowers or hard boiled eggs, or use it as temporary hair dye.
3. Clean things (lemon-flavored only):
Use lemon flavored Kool-Aid packets to clean dishwashers or toilets, help remove the chlorine green from your hair or rust stains from concrete.
4. DIY crafts (use with care--Kool-Aid can stain):
Make water colors, sand art, scented play dough, or eerie dry ice fog.
