Hot Deals to Price Match 5/16-5/22

There is such a wide variety of things to choose from this week! A few things here that I don't see very often include CoverGirl LashBlast Mascara, yellow peaches, and the Kool-Aid packets (which can be used for so many things besides just drinking!). The Pork and Beans and Skinner Pasta are still dirt cheap. My family ate Pork and Beans for dinner tonight just to try them out--you know, to see if it was even the sort of thing we wanted to stock up on. I must admit, though completely un-glamorous, they were pretty tasty.

You can also see the this week's complete price matching list.

  1. Speaking of pork and beans, my dad used to make a meal we adored when my mom wasn't able to cook for us. We called it Beanie Weenies - pork and beans with sliced hot dogs. Seriously so gross when I think about it but to be perfectly honest, I would still chow down on it. Looks like I need to introduce my kiddos to the goodness of Beanie Weenies, unhealthy as it is. You can't beat .39 a can!

And what other uses would you suggest for Kool-Aid? I can only think of Popsicles.

    1. Hee hee, Beanie Weenies! I think Van Camps actually sells pork and beans with the weenies already in it too!

I looked at the nutritional info, and they're not actually that bad for you--6g of fiber and 6g of protein per serving. Only 1g fat, but 7g sugar--you win some, you lose some!

I'll put in a separate post about the many wonderful uses for kool-aid...
